2027 Hong Kong Dragon World Championship – Only 6 Months to Go!

We have reached the six-month countdown to the first-ever Asia Pacific Dragon World Championship, a perfect time to celebrate how far we have come and what lies ahead!

Hong Kong is one of the class’s great originals. Our fleet was founded in 1932, making it the third-oldest fleet worldwide, the oldest in the Asia-Pacific, and the oldest one-design fleet at the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club. For decades, the Worlds rotated across Northern Europe, the Americas, Southern Europe and Australasia. Since 1991 (Canada), the pattern has mostly been three Europe-based events followed by an Australian World Championship.
