HONG KONG ON THE WATER
The ideal time for major sailing events in Hong Kong is November. During this month, the North-East Monsoon brings moderate to fresh breezes, clear skies, and comfortable temperatures ranging from 18 to 25 degrees Celsius.
HONG KONG OFF THE WATER
Hong Kong is an exciting and dynamic destination that goes beyond being a shopping paradise. It features stunning natural beauty, including the UNESCO Global Geopark, diverse local and international gourmet cuisine, and major cultural attractions like the newly opened Hong Kong Palace Museum and M+.

Hosted by
The ROYAL HONG KONG YACHT CLUB (RHKYC)
The Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club (RHKYC) is one of the oldest and most prestigious clubs in the region. It boasts a rich history of over 160 years in social and competitive sailing and rowing. Today, it has evolved into a vibrant organisation with global connections, cosmopolitan, and offering members a wide range of facilities on the water and land.
With extensive experience in handling boat containers, the RHKYC will manage the delivery and measurements of all boats at its Kellett Island boatyard.
“Hong Kong itself and the RHKYC are amazing, and the level of hospitality we received here is incomparable to anywhere else.”

RACING FROM CLEARWATER BAY
Boats will dock at the Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club marina, which offers 300 berths, dining facilities, changing rooms, and a spacious open-air area suitable for major sporting events.
The racecourse, which is up to 8 nautical miles long, is located in the South China Sea near the Ninepins Islands, the site of the 2015 Etchells World Championship.
Repair, sail, and lifting services will be available, with post-race transport by ferry or bus to the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club (RHKYC).
“I thought the race course was a stunning race course because you always had options. If you had a bad start, there was always something to look at, something to give you a bit of hope … all the way up there, lots of nice little shifts.”
