Accreditation, press releases, photography, video and brand assets for the 2027 Hong Kong Dragon World Championship and the 2026 Hong Kong Dragon Asia Pacific Championship, taking place from 17 to 29 November 2026.
The World Championship carries the 2027 title because it opens the 2027 Dragon season, following Dragon class convention.

Media enquiries
For accreditation, photography, interview requests or other media enquiries, please contact us. We work on Hong Kong time (GMT +8) and will respond from the event venues during the championships.
Working at the championship
Media accreditation
Accreditation is required for access to the boat park, race office and designated media positions at both venues, as well as for places aboard the media boats. Accreditation is free, and one application covers both the Asia Pacific Championship and the World Championship.
Applications close on 13 November 2026, and badges will be printed on 14 November 2026. Late applications will be considered, but accreditation badges and media-boat places cannot be guaranteed.
Before you apply
- Photography of members' boats at The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club is prohibited.
- Drone operations require prior approval from the media team. Applications must identify the aircraft, operator and proposed take-off point and must comply with Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department requirements.
- Two media boats will operate, one for photographers and one for video crews. Places are limited and allocated in advance by the media team. Please request a place when submitting your accreditation application.

Venues
The Dragon class
Designed in 1929 by the Norwegian naval architect Johan Anker, the Dragon was an Olympic class from 1948 to 1972 and remains one of the most competitive one-design keelboats in the world, sailed by a crew of three. The class is governed by the International Dragon Association, and national fleets race across Europe, Australia and Asia. It is known for the strength of its amateur and professional fields racing on equal terms.

Images are available free of charge for editorial coverage of the 2027 Hong Kong Dragon World Championship and the 2026 Hong Kong Dragon Asia Pacific Championship. The photographer credit supplied with each file is mandatory.
Images may not be used for advertising, sponsorship, merchandising or other commercial purposes, nor may they be resold or redistributed. Please do not crop an image in a way that removes a competitor’s sail number.

Official championship videos will be published here and may be used free of charge for editorial coverage, subject to the credit stated with each video.

Logos and brand assets
Championship marks are available in SVG and JPG formats for use on light and dark backgrounds.
- The title sponsor’s identity forms part of the championship mark. Do not place the Sun Hung Kai & Co. logo separately beside it.
- Do not redraw, recolour, distort or add effects to either mark. Maintain clear space equivalent to one sail height on every side.
- Partner and sponsor logos are not distributed through this page and should be requested directly from the relevant organisation.

Publication schedule
We publish to a fixed schedule on every racing day.
Racing days are 19, 20 and 21 November for the Asia Pacific Championship and 23, 24, 25, 27, 28 and 29 November for the World Championship. The Race Committee will issue notification through the official notice board if racing is required on the lay day, 26 November.

Results and official documents
Results are official only when published on the official notice board in accordance with the Racing Rules of Sailing. Journalists should cite the official notice board rather than this page.

On site
Conditions of access
- Accreditation is personal and may not be transferred.
- Photography of members’ boats at The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club is prohibited.
- There is no media parking at The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club. Media representatives must arrive on foot or by taxi.
- Drone operations require prior approval from the media team and must take place from the approved take-off point in accordance with Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department requirements. Flights over the clubhouse, golf course, car parks, member berths or people are prohibited.
- Media-boat places are allocated in advance. One boat is reserved for photographers and one for video crews.
- Follow the instructions of the race officers and media team while afloat.
