The Organising Committee of the 2027 Dragon World Championship is pleased to announce that Cathay Pacific has been named the Official Carrier of the event, set to take place in Hong Kong in November 2026.
The partnership brings together the Dragon World Championship and Hong Kong’s home carrier to welcome the global sailing community to one of the most spectacular racing venues on the international circuit.

Hong Kong is one of the class’s great originals. Our fleet was founded in 1932, making it the third-oldest fleet worldwide, the oldest in the Asia-Pacific, and the oldest one-design fleet at the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club. For decades, the Worlds rotated across Northern Europe, the Americas, Southern Europe and Australasia. Since 1991 (Canada), the pattern has mostly been three Europe-based events followed by an Australian World Championship.

Code Zero founder Marc Blees is himself an accomplished international Dragon sailor with over two decades of experience in the class and he will line up on the start line in Hong Kong with a formidable crew, racing for the world title alongside the very competitors his brand will dress.
