Cathay Pacific Named Official Carrier of the 2027 Hong Kong Dragon World Championship

Partnering with Hong Kong’s home airline to fly in the world's top Dragon class sailors for the flagship event.
The Organising Committee of the 2027 Dragon World Championship is pleased to announce that Cathay Pacific has been named the Official Carrier of the event, set to take place in Hong Kong in November 2026. The partnership brings together the Dragon World Championship and Hong Kong’s home carrier to welcome the global sailing community to one of the most spectacular racing venues on the international circuit.
The Dragon World Championship is the most prestigious event on the international Dragon class calendar, drawing Olympic medallists, world champions, and elite Corinthian sailors from more than 20 countries. Hong Kong's selection as the host city reflects its deep sailing heritage and growing stature as a premier destination for world-class sporting events.

As the Official Carrier, Cathay Pacific will provide dedicated travel arrangements for competing teams, race officials and international media from across its global network.
