Chalmers Wines Named Official Wine Partner of the 2027 Hong Kong Dragon World Championship

Chalmers Wines joins as Official Wine Partner, with a limited-edition sparkling rosé created for the championship and poured at Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club.

Chalmers Wines is proud to announce its partnership with the 2027 Hong Kong Dragon World Championship as Official Wine Partner, joining one of the world’s most storied one-design sailing classes. To mark the occasion, Chalmers has created a limited-edition event wine: Col Fondo, a sparkling rosé, designed to add a distinctive sparkle to celebrations on and off the water.

Crafted exclusively for the championship, Chalmers Col Fondo is a sparkling rosé made from estate-grown, barrel-fermented Aglianico from Heathcote, Victoria. Honouring traditional winemaking, it is intentionally cloudy from the secondary fermentation lees left in the bottle; the result is a dry, savoury sparkling wine with a creamy mouthfeel carried by a fine, persistent fizz.

In the lead-up to the regatta, the limited-edition bottling will be poured at Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club (RHKYC) venues, featuring at receptions, presentations and gatherings that bring the international Dragon community together.

The event bottling carries the RHKYC and championship marks at the neck.
